Swizzl, Inc. ("Swizzl," "we," "us," or "our") operates a decision-making platform that helps people make better purchasing and life decisions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.

- Location Data: IP address and, if you provide it, more specific location information relevant to your decision
-
Marketing Attribution Data:
When you arrive at Swizzl through an ad, search result, or referral link, we capture the marketing parameters that brought you here (e.g.,
utm_source,utm_campaign, ad-platform click identifiers likefbclid), the landing URL, and the referring site. We use this to understand which marketing efforts brought you to us, not to track you across the wider web. - Cookies and Tracking: We use first-party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand usage patterns. A notice on first visit lets you know cookies are in use.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide Our Services: Process your questions, generate personalized recommendations, and help you make better decisions
- Improve Our Platform: Analyze conversations and usage patterns to enhance our AI models, prompts, and overall service quality
- Train and Fine-Tune Models: Use conversation data to improve our AI capabilities and decision-making frameworks
- Facilitate Dealer Relationships: When you access Swizzl through a dealer referral link, share relevant conversation summaries with that dealer to help them serve you better
- Analytics and Research: Understand how people use Swizzl and what types of decisions they're making
- Marketing: Improve our marketing efforts and understand our users better
- Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws and respond to legal requests
3. How We Share Your Information
With Automotive Dealers
Dealer-Referred Users: If you access Swizzl through a dealer's referral link (via their website, advertisement, or other marketing), we share a summary of your conversation with that dealer. This summary includes:
- Key factors in your decision-making process
- Your realized preferences and priorities
- Your purchase intent and timeline
- Your contact information (name, email, phone number)
This sharing enables the dealer to have a more informed conversation with you.
Direct Users: If you access Swizzl directly (not through a dealer referral), we will only share your information with dealers if you explicitly consent to a specific dealer referral.
With AI Service Providers
We use third-party AI providers (including Anthropic and potentially others) to power our platform. Your conversations are transmitted to these providers for processing. We use standard API agreements where these providers do not train their models on your data.
With Analytics and Service Providers
We may share information with analytics providers (such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel, if implemented), cloud storage providers (including combinations of AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and others), and other service providers that help us operate our platform.
With Advertising Platforms
When you arrive at Swizzl from an ad we ran on a platform such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), we send a server-side event back to that platform confirming the click landed and a session started. This is standard practice that lets the platform measure how its ads performed and optimize future ad delivery.
In the initial version of this integration, we send only:
-
The platform's own click attribution token (for example, the
fbcvalue derived fromfbclid) - Your IP address and user-agent string
- The URL of the page you landed on and the time of the event
We do not send your name, email, phone number, or any conversation content to advertising platforms in this initial version. A future expansion may send hashed identifiers for richer conversion measurement; if and when that ships, we will update this Privacy Policy and call it out specifically.
With Third Parties
We may share aggregated, anonymized data with third parties for research, marketing, or business purposes. We reserve the right to share or license data to third parties in ways that support our business objectives, subject to applicable legal requirements.
For Legal Reasons
We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4. Data Retention
Different types of data are retained for different periods, reflecting how long they remain useful:
- Account information and conversation data: Retained indefinitely while your account is active, so you can return to your decision history and so we can continuously improve our services. Deleted on request (see Section 5).
- Session and marketing attribution data: Granular session-level records are retained for up to 24 months. After that, we keep only aggregated, non-identifying summaries.
- Ad-performance metrics: Daily ad-performance metrics from our advertising partners are retained at row-level granularity for 13 months. After that, only aggregated rollups are kept.
- Server-side events sent to advertising platforms: We do not maintain a local copy of these events beyond short-lived operational logs (typically 30 days). The receiving platform's retention is governed by that platform's own policies.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at ia.lzzws@ofni. See Section 5 for how we handle these requests.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
